UX Designer| Technical Writer
About

I am a Technical Communicator and UX professional with 5+ years of experience. Currently, I maintain documentation for biotechnology and medical devices. I also consult on UX projects. In the past, I authored documentation to help maintain, operate, and repair various warehouse automation machinery. Before that, I developed coursework to break down sophisticated and complex STEM subjects and make them comprehensible for high school student audiences. I collaborated with AT&T to improve their Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Systems and with Amazon Alexa Automotive on a design research project to understand how to mitigate driver distraction. I interned for the Texas Tech University (TTU) Media Lab, where I conducted UX testing to provide research for the design decisions on the redesign of the TTU English Department website.
